ABOUT
I am a textile designer with over 15 years of experience in surface pattern design, with a particular focus on manual printing methods. My practice alternates between digital patterns and linocut textile printing, exploring the rhythm of repetition and the beauty found in imperfection. I translate my designs onto textiles, paper, and paper-related stationery - including notebooks, wrapping paper, and other surface design products.
Month of Sundays emerged during my explorations in manual printing, encompassing a range of hand-printed home textiles. The name, meaning “a very long time”, alludes to the slow, meditative pace of manual printing and the patience that the creative process demands. Seventeen years after making my first repetitive print, I can now say that prints truly lie at the heart of my work.
SUSTAINABILITY
Month of Sundays textiles are designed to be ethical, sustainable and help you live well. The fabrics I use are sourced from the EU and all the home textiles are sewn and printed in Romania. The Month of Sundays stocks are small because I sometimes work on demand, and try to use the entire fabric as it comes into my atelier. I believe in responsible production and transparency in all that I do and work closely with my suppliers to maintain a united purpose in excellence and sustainability.
